Doing your homework can be difficult, and not only because the assignments are complex. Quite often students are way too tired to get into the right mood and expend a great deal of energy that this kind of activity requires. If you find yourself in a situation like this, you will need to use some tricks in order to concentrate on the task at hand.

  1. Hack your mind.
  2. You are the master of your mind, so you can do anything you need with it. When you sit down to work on a subject that really bores you, tell yourself that you will only spend 5 minutes on this. If there are no signs of motivation in you by the end of your 5 minute limit, drop the assignment and move on to the next one.   14. Don’t think about these assignments as “homework”. Instead, focus on their educational value and how completing them helps you in achieving your ultimate goals in life.

  15. Allow yourself to rest.
  16. If you are really tired, take a short nap and followed by a cup of strong coffee before you start working on your assignments. Sometimes your body would function better if you give in and relax a bit.
